Who they are
Szoldar is a wolf hunter who knows the Svalich Woods well and frequents the Blue Water Inn. For every wolf he slays, he adds a notch to his longbow.
What the party knows
- Szoldar and his partner, Yevgeni, can be hired as guides for 5gp per day.
- They’ll also provide directions to important landmarks in exchange for free drinks.
- They think that it’s suicide to venture into the woods at night, and will only act as guides at night for an exorbitant amount of compensation.

Where we’ve seen them
- Session 16 - The Lady, the Witch, and the Ringmaster (Neyavr 6) - Hired by the party along with Yevgeni Krushkin to guide them to Lake Baratok. Led them past the Hunters’ Shack on the northern shore of Lake Zarovich, where he and Yevgeni explained the Butterfly Shrine’s seven standing stones. He noted that he and Yevgeni leave the ancient stones alone, not knowing their origin but unwilling to anger whatever entities inspired their construction. Guided the party through a blight ambush at the Luna River Crossroads and successfully reached Lake Baratok, where the party encountered Rictavio (later revealed as Dr. Rudolph van Richten).
