Visits

  • Session 19 - The Con at Old Bonegrinder (Neyavr 7) - While traveling on the Old Svalich Road toward Old Bonegrinder, the party encountered one of the Forest Folk’s druids—a gaunt, eccentric figure who stood on their hands in a tree. The druid engaged in a tense exchange with Lady Fiona Wachter, calling her “daughter of Mother Night” and commenting on her strange company. After the druid departed with ominous laughter, Lady Wachter explained that the Forest Folk are hermit druids dwelling in the Svalich Wood who treat Yester Hill as a sacred place. She revealed that these druids worship Strahd as a deity for his control over the land and weather, and serve as his eyes and ears in the wilderness. Lady Wachter first encountered them while studying under her mentor Lysa, a woodswitch of Berez.
