Who they are
Doru is the son of Father Donavich, the priest of the Village of Barovia. Once a young man full of hope, Doru was among those who joined a failed rebellion against Strahd. He was captured and turned into a vampire spawn, then returned to his father’s church as a cruel reminder of the futility of resistance. Now he lurks in the undercroft beneath the church, tormented by his unnatural hunger and desperate to avoid harming those he loves.
